In order to begin doing CrossFit, some basic knowledge and skills are required to make sure you avoid injury and are comfortable with movement techniques before joining regularly scheduled classes. The CrossFit Foundations Class teaches basic movements and skills required to participate in group workouts. We teach fundamental movements involved in CrossFit: Squats, Deadlifts, Presses, Pulls, Olympic Lifts and more.
Foundations Classes are kept small to assure proper attention. These classes are held 2xs per week for two consecutive weeks. As you work through the four consecutive sessions, you and your fellow newcomers will learn basic techniques, terminology; pre-workout warm ups, and exercises before participating in regular CrossFit Wappoo classes. Foundations is the perfect place to ask questions and make some new friends before transitioning into our regular classes.
We ask you to commit to the Foundations schedule for this period. It is the only time we will ask you to commit to specific class dates/times. If you are unable to make a session, contact us to determine your options. The cost for Foundations is $100.
